upGrad’s ex-Human Resources Director, Sanjeev Jha, joins Research & Ranking as HR Head



Mumbai, 21st November 2023: Research & Ranking, the equity investment advisory brand under Equentis Wealth Advisory Services Limited, announced the appointment of Sanjeev Jha as Head of Human Resources today. At Research & Ranking, Sanjeev will lead strategic and people-centric initiatives. He will report to Manish Goel, Founder & Director of Research & Ranking.


In this pivotal role, Sanjeev will spearhead the development and implementation of HR strategies in alignment with the company’s ambition to drive high growth. In collaboration with his team, he will focus on attracting top-tier talent, nurturing professional growth, prioritizing employee well-being, and fostering a performance-based culture. Sanjeev will emphasize inclusivity, professional development, employee branding, and a harmonious work environment to achieve these objectives.

Sanjeev is a seasoned HR Leader with over 15 years of experience and a track record of fostering a transformational and diverse work environment. He joined Research & Ranking from upGrad– an Edtech giant, where he helped the firm scale up from 300 employees to 7,000. Throughout his career, he oversaw – COE, HR Business partnering, Talent acquisition, HR transformation, Learning & development, Organizational Development, and Shared Services across geographies. He has demonstrated exceptional leadership in multiple renowned companies. His earlier stints include working with Convergys India, TCS, and GIC Power. He has an MBA in HR and an LLB from Mumbai University. Apart from his professional endeavors, Sanjeev values family time, exploring new destinations, and indulging in golf to unwind and recharge.
