Industry HR leaders emphasize skills, adaptability, and real-world readiness as the key drivers of career success beyond academic CGPA

The session offered students a candid, real-world perspective on what truly matters when stepping into the professional world.

The panelists stressed that learning continuously and being adaptable are key to long-term career success in a job market that’s always changing.
Dr. G. S. Yogesh, Vice-Principal, East Point College of Engineering & Technology spoke about the institution’s ongoing efforts to bridge the industry–academia gap. He outlined initiatives such as curriculum enhancement, experiential learning, and stronger industry collaboration aimed at preparing students for real-world challenges.
There was a Q&A session where students asked the panelists questions about making career decisions, overcoming challenges and transitioning into the workforce. The discussion led to some insightful conversations and encouraged students to think differently about their careers.
