Mumbai, 10th March, 2025: JIKA, a leading player in data centre infrastructure sector in India and Southeast Asia, successfully observed National Safety Week (NSW) 2025, reinforcing its commitment to workplace safety with participation from employees across all locations, including Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune and the company’s head office, and manufacturing facility in Mumbai.
The week-long celebrations were designed to enhance awareness, improve competency, and instil a strong safety culture among workers through engaging activities, comprehensive training sessions, and recognition programmes.
A series of interactive events encouraged employees at all levels to actively participate in safety initiatives. Opening and closing ceremonies set the tone for the week, highlighting the importance of safety in daily operations. Competitions such as writing safety slogans and drawing competitions inspired creativity in promoting workplace safety, while the Chalta Bolta Quiz and Safety Quiz made learning about safety fun and engaging.
Mass housekeeping initiatives were also undertaken at the company’s offices and factories, reiterating the importance of maintaining a clean and hazard-free work environment.

To ensure employees were equipped with practical safety skills, JIKA conducted detailed training sessions covering key aspects of workplace safety. These included manual material handling and work at height best practices, such as lifting techniques, scaffolding safety, and fall prevention. Fire safety and first-aid training, including CPR and health precautions, prepared employees for emergency response scenarios. Electrical safety and lockout-tagout (LOTO) procedures were emphasised to mitigate electrical hazards, while job-specific safety training sessions were tailored to enhance workers’ competency in handling specialised equipment and tasks.
JIKA also honoured outstanding safety contributions through awards and appreciation of employees. With the NSW 2025 theme, “Safety & Well-being Crucial for Viksit Bharat,” JIKA remains dedicated to prioritising workplace safety, enhancing employee skill sets, and fostering a secure and efficient working environment across all its locations.
