According to Neha Bajaj, Managing Director and Founder, Scroll Mantra “As per reports, people who work from a well laid out office space are up to 32% more productive and result oriented. Considering the fact that employees form a foundation on which an organisation builds and flourishes, their comfort and prosperity is the prime responsibility of the organisation. I believe investing in a well-designed workspace has served the dual purpose of enhancing the brand’s reputation and also boosting the enthusiasm of the employees.”
An office for creative minds needs a space that is inspiring and comfortable enough for interactive sessions, creative thinking and devising ground-breaking strategies. Scroll Mantra’s office has a sophisticated, contemporary and vibrant design.
After deciding to move to a new office space, Neha Bajaj met with various interior designers to finalize the design for the new office. Only when she met Sandhya Seth and Mohan Chandran, designers from Kreative Strokes, an Interior Design firm, a connection was sparked and the three of them hit it off. Being on the same wavelength, brainstorming and agreeing on creative ideas was as easy as a hot knife through butter.
With Neha’s creative mind, Sandhya’s architectural expertise, and former IAF Group Captain Mohan Chandran’s discipline, the project was executed seamlessly and efficiently. Here we have an office that so precisely conforms to what was envisaged.
The use of striking pops of colours and brilliantly placed tan-coloured wooden framework to increase storage make the entire space aesthetically marvellous. The addition of small elements like the green leather sofas, the geometric navy blue table, and the beautiful framed tangerine-coloured modern cabinet adds to the ambience of the place.
The office is spacious with large glass windows maximizing the amount of natural light entering the office. The white and grey walls, tall windows and lighter shades of wood represent the light-heartedness of the organization. The strategic placements of Moroccan tiles accentuated with wooden panelling bring in the awe factor. The white doors and semi-transparent glass walls of the office are custom-made, featuring an angular design. The carefully-chosen multicoloured blinds are in-line with the overall theme of the office; bright, soothing and abstract.
Meenakshi Gambhir, Senior Account Manager at Scroll Mantra says, “I believe that a rationally designed quality workspace leads to a less stressful and more productive atmosphere. As we spend majority of our day within the office premises it is vital that the physical environment is taken into consideration. Our office space is inspiring and comfortable. We have dedicated areas for meetings, brainstorming, a casual one-on-one session and play area for our fun Fridays.
The use of modular lamps suspended from the ceiling not only brighten up the place but also bring more character to it. From the bright zigzag/angular hanging lamp to the bright yellow dome lights, all have been hand-picked by Neha Bajaj, founder and managing director of the company. It’s safe to say that the office is truly ‘lit’.
The wooden lounge area features a fully stocked bookshelf, cushions, stuffed toys, and a swing. Employees could use this space to sit comfortably, and for spontaneous interactions. While being great for sparking creativity, the spot also serves as a change of scenery from the conventional desk and chair arrangement.
Employees are greeted with a motivational wall the moment they look up from their desks, with messages like “make it happen, make it creative” inculcating a sense of purpose.
The snack counter combined with the play area makes for a perfect place to have pizza parties and play a board game or two. The grass flooring accentuates the wooden elements in the room and gives a unique and authentic feel to it.
The conference room’s design is strictly business with minimalistic furniture, textured wood-panelled floors and a cabinet that smartly hides the TV.
